 President’s message

 Members of the MSSCA are proud of their 80 years of service to our community and of the enduring friendships they have made.  This alliance is fortunate to have a membership of enthusiastic, educated, and passionate men and women who are willing to share their time and skills for the benefit of others.  Within our state and on the national level, our alliance is recognized for its leadership, strength and productivity. 

Because our membership varies widely in interests and demands on their time, we are sensitive to the reality that each person will participate on a different level.  Whether you are extremely limited in your time or enjoy the freedom to participate in an unlimited capacity, our goal is to offer something of interest for each individual.  Currently our focus includes political action, environmental concerns, childhood obesity, internet safety, bullying, meals on wheels, community education, medical outreach, physician education, domestic violence and so much more.  Whatever your interest, we have others who share your passion.    

By becoming a member, you become a participant in all of our goals of health promotion and support of the MSSC.  It is through the payment of dues that we are able to fund our many projects.  Though it is in working side by side that friendships more quickly develop, we never underestimate the value of those who participate by paying dues only.
